These aren't your typical couple photos, that will need to change with the seasons and trends, your next haircut, and your growing family. Of all the photos you take together in your lifetime, milestone sessions like your engagement photos are the ones that will never need to be updated.


These are the photos that will go at the front of your memory books, that you'll display at your 50th wedding anniversary, and that will be on your mom's fridge for the next decade (at least!).


These are the photos your kids will grow up seeing, and will always think of when they think of you young.

ALABAMA ENGAGEMENT SESSIONS



My engagement session collection is $400 and includes up to two hours of coverage, location and outfit guidance, expedited gallery delivery, and a high resolution online gallery with printing rights. Engagement sessions are discounted when booked with a wedding package!

LONGER SESSIONS


I've built my engagement collections to include up to two hours of coverage in order to take the pressure of time off you and your partner, and leave room to capture all of your in-between and real life moments together.


LOCATION GUIDANCE


I've created a location guide specifically for local Huntsville couples, which includes a variety of different locations based on seasons, style, and your personal preferences. For non-local couples, I have a variety of resources to help us choose the perfect spot for your session!


WHAT TO WEAR + PLANNING GUIDE


As part of our planning, I'll send over a detailed guide on planning your engagement session. It goes over everything from when to schedule your session, what to wear, how to personalize your photos, and even how to print them after!


NEXT (BUSINESS) DAY SNEAK PEEKS


The day after your session — or the Monday after, if we're doing your photos on a weekend — I'll send you 3-5 of the very best photos from your day!


ONE MONTH DELIVERY


I'll deliver your full gallery one month from your session date! It will include 50-70 of the best photos from the day, in an online gallery that you can easily view, share, and download.

PRINTS


After your gallery is delivered, we'll start planning any prints, announcements, or photo albums so that your photos get seen and enjoyed now that you have them!

How to Book

INQUIRE!

Shoot me an email through my contact form! Once I get your message, I'll reach out to you and we can schedule a time to chat on the phone and get to know each other a bit.

CALL

During our call, we'll go over wedding details, answer any questions you have for me, and go over wedding collections and add-ons

CONTRACT

After our call, I'll send over your contract and invoice! I typically require a 50% retainer to hold your date. Once you've signed the contract and sent over that retainer, you're officially booked!

FAQ

Do you travel?

Yes! I'm based in Gadsden, but frequently photograph sessions throughout Alabama, Tennessee, and the Southeastern United States.

Can we bring our pet?

Heck yes. Please bring your pet. Just make sure to let me know in advance so that I can plan accordingly when I'm prepping for our session!

What should we wear?

I have a wardrobe guide with a ton of ideas and tips that I'll send you after booking! For an engagement session, I do usually recommend bringing both a dressier outfit and a more casual one.

Will you photograph our wedding too?

Engagement sessions and weddings often go together! A lot of my couples will use their engagement session as a trial run before they decide on a wedding photographer – I strongly encourage this and will take the price of your engagements out of your wedding package if you decide to go this route!

What's on your shot list?

Your session will be unique to the two of you! I have a few shots that I almost always do, but other than those I plan your session based on our discussions and questionnaire beforehand, and it won't be the same as someone else's. If you have any really specific moments or photos that are extremely important to you, let me know and I'll make sure to highlight them during your session!

We're nervous about looking natural...

This is my specialty — it's my job to get you guys loosened up and feeling like yourselves! The best thing you can do to help me is wear clothing you're comfortable in, focus on your partner, and trust me to capture your best angles and real smiles. If you're really worried, it can help to plan your session around an activity the two of you love to help distract from the camera! I'll send over some planning resources to help us make that happen after booking :)

When will we get our photos back?

You'll get your engagement photo preview (6 of the best images) back within one business day, and your final gallery one month after your session date. If you're running late on announcements or need your photos faster than that, simply let me know during our planning and we'll make it work!
