We got the PERFECT sunset for Nick and Bailey's proposal. He picked the Fairhope Municipal Pier, which was a spot that was especially sentimental for her, as it was somewhere that she had loved visiting with her family when they lived in Fairhope. He was able to secretly get her parents out there too to surprise her!
One of my favorite parts of the evening was that while we were getting set up for the proposal, Bailey texted Nick: half-joking that he was missing the wedding venue tour. (Which was hilarious for the obvious reasons, but also because the very venue she was exploring with her friends right then was Nick's backup proposal spot for if it got stormy.) It was definitely good to see that she had marriage on her mind too!
The proposal went so well. Bailey had one of the sweetest reactions I've ever seen — she threw back her head and laughed when she realized what was going on. She (a nurse) had been rushed over to the pier after being told that one of the guys had stepped on a nail, it was a bit of a relief that no one was actually going to the hospital! You can also see that Nick proposed with a ring pop first. (Don't worry, he had the real thing to back it up!)
After she said yes, we did a little mini engagement session on the pier, grabbed a group photo with their family and friends, and then I headed out to let them celebrate together!
